For HVAC, Plumbing & Electrical Contractors

Every job has a margin. You just can’t see it.

Margin One turns your scattered software into one operating system — so you finally know where you make money, where it leaks, and what to do about it this week. Built by people who ran the trucks, not consultants with a deck.

The problem

You’re not short on software. You’re flying blind.

You’ve got a CRM, a field tool, QuickBooks, scheduling, a marketing dashboard. And you’re still the most informed person in the company who can’t answer the questions that decide whether you grow or grind:

Are we actually profitable — by job type, crew, and channel?
Which marketing produces booked jobs, not just leads?
Are technicians productive and crews staffed right?
Are salespeople performing — or masking gaps with volume?

It’s not a software problem. It’s an operating-system problem.

What You Get

An engagement with deliverables, not a deck.

  • Your Operating Data, Connected

Field service, books, and marketing — Housecall Pro, QuickBooks, and Google among them — pulled into one place.

  • A KPI Scorecard Built for Your Trade

The numbers that decide whether you grow or grind — margin, cost per booked job, tech efficiency — with targets.

  • The M1COS Platform

Financial, marketing, sales, and operations dashboards your leadership team actually reads.

  • A Weekly Operating Rhythm

A standing cadence where the scorecard gets reviewed and decisions get made — run with you, not handed to you.

  • An Operator Across the Table

Accountability from people who ran the trucks — visibility you act on, not a binder on a shelf.

The method

We don’t hand you advice. We install the system — and run it with you.

A number only moves the business if you run it every week.

01

Connect your data

Your CRM, field tool, books, and marketing into one place.

02

Build your scorecard

The numbers that actually run your business.

03

Run the weekly rhythm

The cadence that turns data into decisions.

04

Grow on what you see

Protect margin, scale what works.

M1COS  ·  THE OPERATING LAYER

Connect the tools. Build the number. Run the rhythm. Grow the margin — every week, not once a quarter.

How It Starts

What happens when you book.

  1. 01

    Book the Call

Pick a time on the calendar — a real conversation with an operator, not a sales development rep.

  2. 02

    Look at Your Business Together

Where margin hides, what you can't currently see, and whether this is actually a fit. If it isn't, we'll say so.

  3. 03

    Scope and Connect

If it is, we scope the engagement and connect the tools you already run — no rip-and-replace.

  4. 04

    First Picture, Then the Rhythm

Your first operating picture goes live and the weekly rhythm starts.

Is This for You?

Built for a specific kind of shop.

The engagement works best when there’s real operating complexity to see into — and a team willing to act on what it sees.

A Strong Fit If

  • You run an HVAC, plumbing, or electrical company — roughly $1M–$50M in revenue.
  • You already run field-service, accounting, or marketing software. The data exists; the one picture doesn't.
  • You can't reliably see margin by job, crew, or channel today.
  • You're willing to run a weekly operating rhythm with your leadership team.

Probably Not a Fit If

  • You're looking to replace your field-service software — M1COS layers on top of the tools you run, it doesn't replace them.
  • You want a dashboard to glance at, not a rhythm to run. The numbers only move the business if you work them weekly.
  • You don't run operating software yet — there's no data to connect until you do.

See your margin on your own numbers.

One conversation to start — no rip-and-replace, no long setup.

Before You Book

The questions owners ask first.

Does M1COS replace our field-service software?
No. M1COS is an operational-intelligence layer on top of the tools you already run — your field-service software keeps running dispatch, invoicing, and the day-to-day. We read from it; we don't replace it.
Is this software or consulting?
Both, deliberately. You get the M1COS platform — dashboards, KPIs, scorecards — inside a coaching engagement with operators who run the rhythm with you. It is not self-serve SaaS, because a dashboard nobody acts on changes nothing.
What systems can you work with?
The tools contractors already run — Housecall Pro, QuickBooks, and Google (Ads, Analytics, Local Services) among them. On the call we'll map what you're running and what connects.
What if our books or data are messy?
That's normal, and it's part of the work. Cleaning and organizing the data so every leak is visible comes before the scorecard — you don't need clean books to start, you need them to finish.
How much of my time does this take?
The real commitment is the weekly operating rhythm — a standing leadership cadence where the scorecard gets reviewed and decisions get made. The system only works if you run it every week; that's the honest cost.
What's the next step?
Book a call. It's a working conversation about your numbers and visibility gaps — and if the engagement isn't a fit for your shop, we'll tell you that on the call.
